This book was a super interesting read. It is quite gentle and meandering, yet when you begin to realise what the story represents, it also has quite an impactful and powerful message. Here it is!!!😻😻 My new book A SONG FOR LONELY WOLVES ❤️❤️ It feels so good to be holding it in my hands!! And flicking through the pages feels so exciting ❤️ I can't even quite describe it! And now my paperback sits on my desk so I can glance over at it while I am working!! Haha. 😹 . To be honest, I am really proud of this book. I've written a lot of manuscripts over the years, but this was a change for me, as it is a heavily plotted mystery, about a young woman detective in 1590 Korea who is attempting to solve a frightening crime. I feel really proud of how this story has come together and can't wait to get stuck into writing the next book in the series! 😻😻 . Here is a peak at the artwork being used for the book cover of my just this week released historical detective novel, called A SONG FOR LONELY WOLVES!⁠ ⁠. I am so excited about the cover, which I feel really suits the story! ⁠. The character you see in this artwork is my protagonist, her name is Dan Ji, and she is a damo in 1590 Joseon Korea. She gets sent (along with some other investigators) to solve the mystery of a missing woman in the far north.⁠ ⁠. I am really proud of this book, and so happy with this artwork that I feel really gets the feel of this character right! . ⁠here is the blurb: . . Joseon Korea, winter, 1590. At the foot of a jagged mountain range, an isolated village lies in muddy snow. From her bed, a young noblewoman vanishes in the dead of night and rumours of a fearsome ghost with no face echo in her wake. This character is Seorin, the protagonist of my novel! She is a gisaeng in Joseon Korea, and just when she is running out of hope, she is embroiled in a dangerous conspiracy where she must act as spy for a shadowy organisation ... but she has something she wants in return.⁠ ⁠ It was a lot of fun to write this book, and I really wanted to create something with a lot of tension and romance, but that was still a historical adventure with a twisty plot!
