TRAVEL DIARY: Forbidden City, China

Well this photographic travel Diary entry isn’t Korea related, but I think it is okay to branch out from time to time 🙂 Therefore, I have included a BUNCH of pictures from the truly extraordinary Forbidden City in Beijing, China, which I visited a little while ago. I hope you enjoy!

This place was absolutely extraordinary!

It is immense on an unimaginable scale, and just so utterly beautiful. I really loved wandering around this place, and was particularly fascinated by all the small details. The patterns in the tiles. The door handles. The intricate underneath wooden railings of every roof. The statues lined up on every awning.

The Forbidden City is really beautiful. Filled with history, atmosphere and holy hell, it was filled to the absolute brim with PEOPLE! Even though I visited in Winter, it was just PACKED!

I loved it.

Have You Been to the Forbidden City?

If so, I’d love to hear about your experiences there.

Or if you haven’t visited, is it a place that interests you?

I’d LOVE to hear your thoughts!
