  1. My favorite actors are:
    1. Jung Il Woo
    2. Yoo Seung Ho
    3. Jung Hae In
I also follow Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Jun Ki, Hyun Bin.

    I don’t really follow actresses.

So I was REALLY HAPPY that you mentioned Jung Il Woo at the end of your podcast. Did you know Lee Minho and Lee Jun Ki (with Kim Bum) are real life best friends? LMH and JIW were friends before becoming celebrities. Their friendship is pretty well known.

Btw, MOON EMBRACING THE SUN was a MEGA HIT in Korea. But like you, I couldn’t remember much of JIW there. (I didn’t like this deama). But in an interview with KIM SOO HYUN, they asked him which scene in the drama was most memorable. And he said the scene where his brother (JIW) dies. I do remember that scene. So unnecessarily tragic.

Also, let me know how you like MEMORIST. It was too dark (like horror flick) and the plot was so twisted it was hard to follow. But the end was pretty brilliant. It reminded me a little bit of CRIMINAL MINDS (Lee Jun Ki). But like you, CM was bad. It had no character development.MEMORIST was in another level. Pretty intelligent writing

    1. Yes, I couldn’t leave Jung Il Woo out of my list, this year has been so fun in rediscovering how great he is! 🙂 Haechi was just such a wonderful show, I am so glad I watched it!

I had no idea that Lee Minho and Lee Jun Ki and co were all friends, that is so nice 🙂 and even before they were celebrities too? Very cool.

Ooh, good to hear about Memorist! It is still on my list to watch but I haven’t managed to get around to it yet. But that is awesome if you felt the writing was good at the end. I’ll look forward to it 🙂

  2. Hello. Thank you for replying to all my comments.

CORRECTION: LEE MIN HO and JUNG IL WOO are best friends (not Lee Jun Ki). Sorry for the typo. In fact, they were in a serious car accident in 2006? While going on a trip together. They were injured pretty badly back then. In 2016, Jung Ilwoo was diagnosed with cerebral aneurysms. I think that accident may have precipitated this.

Here’s an article talking about this illness.

And thank you for introducing me to your friend Cat. I will check her out.

    ADIOS wink wink
